Field Service
Our Qualified Technicians are equipped to carry out electronic fault finding on all Cat Machines with CAT Electronic Technician (E.T.) and thus to minimize downtime of machines on a breakdown.
We have also technicians trained and equipped with VOLVO SIS to assist in fault finding and repairs.
They are also trained on fault finding on Hitachi, Cummins, and Komatsu.
Other Fault Finding tools we utilise are: CAT - ET/SIS; Volvo V-CADS; Cummins; Hitachi

b. Man On-Site Services
We render Man on Site services to various Mine Groups.
c. Auto Aircon services and repairs.
We have specialised technicians available to repair or do services on Auto Aircon systems. We also do installations of new systems.

Mine Specification Fitments
Compu Truck has a dedicated fitment team to fit machines with Mine Specification accessories such as strobe lights, work lights, barlights, Power Distribution Units, Lock Out systems, reverse cameras and other specified fitments. We can do it on-site or at our fully equipped fitment center in Middelburg.
Workshop Projects
Refurbishments
Compu Truck specialise in CAB refurbishment and is done at our workshop in Middelburg.
We also refurbish Electronic Bays, refit the old fuse box with circuit breakers, repair the harness and seal the unit for water damage.
Harnesses
We build harnesses according to OEM specifications or better, for example, we will use 2 mm wire instead of 1.5 mm wire that gives our harnesses less chance of failure and better durability and higher current rating than OEM specifications.
Our harnesses are braided with a strong durable sleeving.
All our harnesses are subject to very strict quality control process to ensure they are 100 % correct and to OEM specification
Electronic Department
Compu Truck's Electronic Department render the following services:

Repair of ECUs, transmission controllers, engine controls, EMS panels, electronic boards, shift levers, control levers, pump controllers, safe away step ladders, governor motors, dash panels, steering control levers, monitoring panels, etc.

Manufacturing Department
i. Power Distribution Unit -PDU
To mitigate splicing and damage to Harnesses to add aftermarket systems such as Grease systems, two-way radios, C-Track, NAE, Fire Suppression, E-Stops, etc.
ii. Harnesses
We build harnesses according to OEM specifications or better, for example, we will use 2 mm wire instead of 1.5 mm wire that gives our harnesses less chance of failure and better durability and higher current rating than OEM spec.
iii. Lock-Out and Isolation
Compu Truck manufacture and fit Lock-Out systems to the customers need and specifications.
• Lockout boxes provide a way to lock out and isolate batteries or to isolate the starter when technicians are busy with live testing as per Mine Safety regulations.
• The lock-out box provides a convenient jump start point that eliminates the original crocodile clamps for jump-starting as per Mine specifications and safety procedures.
• Lock-out boxes also have ground level Emergency Stop push buttons for cutting off supply to engine from ground level.
